Holden Back the Tears

The book so far is an OK book but I personally wouldn't read it again after this. This book starts off slow and reminds me of Separate Piece with Holden being in a private school, but without the feeling that he is attracted to other guys at his school. The book is an easy read if you are able to get into the book. The book is able to catch you with the overly emphised emotions of Holden making the book somewhat of a good read.

Assignment 2 1/26/09

The movie, interview, and book are all the same in certain ways by giving us a better look into the final chapters of Morrie's life and how he was able to influence the life of a former student of his. The clips of both the movie and the interview are beneficial because they give us a visual picture of Morrie and how he is dealing with the struggles of ALS.The movie takes away from the interview and book because as it was said in class it changed some parts of the actual events.
